Before I set up my own business, I studied Garden design at degree level at the University of Greenwich.

Taught mainly at a horticultural college in Kent (the garden of England) I became familiar with a wide range of plants and gained appreciation for well designed outdoor spaces.As well as planting design and hard landscape detailing and construction, the course covered units such as ideas & theories, sites & materials, client and process and history and conservation.This not only gave me a good academic grounding but it sparked my passion for creating gardens that could be expressive and artistic.
